Sponsorship Officer

Exciting Opportunity as a Sponsorship Officer!

Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in charity/not-for-profit/membership organisations, and a passion for developing relationships? Our client, a leading organisation in the membership industry, is seeking a dynamic Sponsorship Officer to support their team for a temporary period of three months. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a sales-focused role, working with warm leads to secure sponsorship contracts.

Organisation: Membership/Not-for-profit Industry

Contract Type: Temporary, 3 months

Hourly rate: £22-£25

Working Pattern: Full Time, hybrid

Location: Closest stations are Holborn & Chancery Lane

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage inbound sponsorship and exhibition queries
2. Contact previous sponsors to secure repeat business
3. Convert warm leads provided by our client's stakeholders into confirmed sponsorship contracts
4. Raise invoices related to sponsorship and exhibition activities
5. Follow up with sponsors and exhibition partners to ensure timely payment
6. Work on contract administration using Adobe Sign
7. Conduct sponsor surveys to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement
8. Maintain internal spreadsheets to track the sponsorship pipeline
9. Manage and organise data related to sponsorship activities
10. Support overall sales pipeline management
11. Collaborate with the team to hand over secured contracts for delivery

Key Experience and Skills:

1. Previous sales experience
2. Previous role in not-for-profit/charity/membership environment
3. Ability to effectively manage warm leads
4. Proven experience in securing repeat business
5. Strong ability to close a sale
6. Confident and capable of holding meetings and negotiating with potential sponsors
7. Proactive and detail-oriented mindset
8. Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport with clients
