What you will do:

  1. Ensure the needs and views of our children and young people are at the heart of everything we do, offering evidence-based, holistic, and child-centred assessments and interventions aligning with the Three Waves of Intervention and our Therapeutic Focus Model.
  2. Use your advanced specialist knowledge and extensive practical experience across various work practices to deliver exceptional therapeutic services.
  3. Undertake high-quality assessments of children and young people, making recommendations for appropriate therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs.
  4. Provide line management and clinical supervision to allocated Therapies Assistants, and support Newly Qualified Speech and Language Therapists within the setting.
  5. Collaborate closely with children, young people, their parents, and staff to ensure a personalised plan of delivery.
  6. Participate in service and practice development and identify training needs, developing and facilitating training sessions for staff and parents/carers.
