Working Pattern: Full-Time, Monday to Friday (9:00-17:30)
Rate: £395/day

Job Overview:

We are urgently recruiting for a high-paying locum Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to join a well-established Special School service based in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team, supporting children and young people aged 3-19 in an inclusive and forward-thinking school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive Speech & Language Therapy support to students aged 3-19 within the Special School setting
2. Deliver individualised treatment plans for children with complex needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and speech disorders
3. Assess, diagnose, and implement therapy plans for communication and feeding difficulties
4. Provide support and training to school staff and parents to ensure consistency in communication strategies
5. Use SystmOne to manage and document clinical information in line with service policies
6. Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to EHCP reviews

1. HCPC-registered Speech & Language Therapist
2. Minimum 2 years' experience working in paediatric SLT within school settings
3. Proven experience with Dysphagia management
4. Up-to-date compliance, including enhanced DBS
5. Experience working within a special education or complex needs setting is highly desirable
6. Confident using SystmOne (training will also be provided)
