Job title: Speech and Language Therapist
Location: Kestrel House School – London
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only, 41 weeks (There may be scope for this role to be a full-time contract (52 weeks) if this is your preference, please get in touch to discuss.)
Salary: Up to £53,200 (pro-rata, dependent upon experience)
Essential: Valid UK full driving licence and access to own vehicle
About the role
We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist to join our developing in-house Clinical Team, which includes occupational therapy, psychotherapy, and therapy assistants. You will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for the pupils we support.
You will be responsible for holding a speech and language therapy caseload and, with the full support of our knowledgeable Clinical Team, you will also contribute to staff training and consultation. This position would suit a resilient and enthusiastic individual, with a creative therapeutic approach and the ability to make decisions as well as manage their own workload. In addition, you will provide information and training to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as required.
Our Clinical Teams help maintain a person-centred, empowering approach, always putting the people we support at the forefront of everything they do. All our settings maintain a strong safeguarding culture, and the people we support are heard, respected, and involved in decisions that affect them.
With this in mind, we are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist who shares our vision to use innovative approaches to enhance the quality of life of the people in our care.
