Qualified Speech and Language Therapist
Location: All-Through Special Needs School, Brent
Position: Full-Time Speech and Language Therapist
Start Date: September
Hours: Monday to Friday

A lovely all-through special needs school in Brent is seeking a qualified and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join the team. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with teachers and Teaching Assistants (TAs) to support the communication and language development of students in Key Stage 1, 2, and 3.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with teachers and TAs to assess and support students' speech and language needs.
  2. Develop and implement individualized plans to enhance students' communication skills.
  3. Provide direct therapy to students and monitor their progress.
  4. Offer guidance and training to staff to ensure effective support for students with speech and language difficulties.
  5. Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with relevant certifications.
  2. Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within an educational setting.
  3. Strong understanding of supporting children with a range of speech and language needs.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Commitment to working full-time, Monday to Friday, starting in September.

Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
