You will have the opportunity to work with early years and school-age children & young people with a range of speech, language & communication needs. Providing assessment, advice & intervention, with a supportive team of therapists & assistants. These posts have arisen due to increased interest from local nurseries & schools to provide high-quality Speech & Language Therapy provision.

The Greenwich Children's Integrated Therapies service consists of Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams, providing services to Early Years, School Years and Special Schools.
The Greenwich Children’s Speech and Language Therapy team has specialists in all key clinical areas including: Autism, DLD, deafness, dysphagia, phonology, and SEMH. We work closely to provide clinical support and second opinions.

Oxleas created and facilitate the nationally recognised Allied Health Professionals Preceptorship Programme. Preceptorships aim is to provide support and structure in during a career transition, such as student to newly qualified to help build confidence. At Oxleas, you will have access to a robust and successful AHP Preceptorship support package which is tailored to the individual. You will be part of a wider AHP community, not only within Oxleas but with our National Preceptorship Partners across the country. The programme has been shortlisted for National CAHPO Awards in 2023 and 2024.
You will work alongside a large team of Therapists and Assistants and will have access to administrative, managerial and clinical support. Where appropriate you will receive higher levels of supervision for Newly Qualified Therapists to support the completion of your RCSLT NQP Competencies Framework.
Training and career development is well supported within Oxleas with the opportunity to attend both internal and external training. Examples of training accessed in the past 12 months includes: Nuffield Dyspraxia, Shape Coding, PECS, Bilingualism, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Evidence based assessment and intervention for DLD, Core Vocabulary Intervention, Attention Autism and Hanen.
