Role Description:
Work with people who have long-term neurological conditions, focusing on maximising functional ability and quality of life.
Lead group therapy sessions and build one-on-one rapport to develop speech and communication.
Manage caseloads, assessments, interventions, and evaluations.
Contribute to audits and research, and provide specialist knowledge in areas like acquired communication and swallowing disorders.
Requirements: HCPC registration, experience managing cases involving dysphagia, working with families, and evidence of ongoing professional development.
