Job description

Do you have food industry Specifications writing experience and are looking to join an industry leader who can fast track your development?


As a Food Specification Technologist, you will leverage your expertise to create and manage product specifications for diverse retail customers, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and regulatory standards. You will lead specification work for at least one customer or product category, overseeing the timely creation and approval of accurate product pack copies and artwork, aligned with legislation and group policies.


You will manage complex multi-level recipes, ensuring consistency across all technical documentation, including raw material data and factory specifications. In addition, you will collaborate with internal teams to drive effective planning and execution, while providing expert support to other departments on specifications, customer requirements, and regulations.


Role Details:

Salary: £35k - £38k DOE


Start date: ASAP


Shift: Full time, 5 days on site, Monday - Friday


Hours: 9am - 5pm (hours can be flexible to accommodate the right candidate).


Location: Multiple locations UK wide
