Job Title: Specification Technologist
Salary: 29,000 - 33,000
Location: Fakenham - Offering up to 3x days WFH per week

Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace, they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Specification Technologist to join their business.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage Specifications: Oversee the generation and approval of Retailer Finished Product Specifications and own Brand.
2. Timely Pack Copy: Ensure timely and correct generation and approval of retailer and own Brand Pack copy documentation.
3. Information: Collect all necessary information for artwork, including marketing titles, 'new' flashes, barcodes, etc.
4. Accuracy Checks: Review pack copy generated by other NPD team members to ensure accuracy.
5. On-Pack Claims: Agree on titles, subtitles, and special 'on-pack' claims.
6. Quality Standards: Ensure pack copy meets quality standards, driving a right-first-time artwork process.
7. Compliance: Ensure all specifications and supporting documents comply with BRCGS and customer standards.
8. Supplier Approval: Complete and manage supplier approval questionnaires and other product technical inquiries.
9. Legal Translations: Liaise with translation service providers to ensure correct legal translations on packs and compliance with legal requirements for destination countries.
10. Proofreading: Proofread and approve artwork for legal compliance and customer codes of practice.

About You:

1. Experience within food manufacturing is required.
2. Competent with customer or retailer specifications.
3. Flexible to travel to other sites.
