Specification Manager Facades

At Weber, we are looking for a Specifications Manager Facades to work in our Sales Team, with the main responsibility for driving the direction of the project specification through the implementation of robust specification activity to deliver profitable growth. You will be working with key specifiers, frameworks, and contractors, enabling Weber to achieve its ambition of specification market leadership through the management of the supply chain with key partners.

The Specification Manager will be a key part of managing customer relationships, interacting with internal partners such as the Regional Sales team, the Specification team, Distribution teams, and the Flooring and Technical Mortar team. This role is a national role covering either the North of England or the South of England. It is fully autonomous and remote, managing your workload and the relationship with key Facades specification stakeholders, such as Engineering Consultants, National Clients, Architects, Main Contractors, Rendering and Dry Lining sub-contractors, and Local Authorities, to maximize market presence.

What we’re looking for:

• A strong understanding and awareness of specification sales combined with strong business acumen.
• Specification Professional – technical sales / engineering background.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple simultaneous priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and manage across a matrix organization.
• Practical and logical knowledge of Facades and Rendering products and the project tender process.

What you will be doing:

• Specification sales, generating specifications, dealing with contractors, and working with distributors to get our products to market.
• Managing all the commercial aspects of our customers' projects, leading and consulting through the various stages of their development.
• Performing CPD to Consulting Engineers, Architects, Design Engineers, and hands-on demonstrations to customers.
• Proactively using tenacity and determination in selling alongside technical competence and relationship building to successfully identify opportunities and manage technical mortars specification activity.
• Managing the specification activity for Façade projects within the territory through a combination of project targeting using lead-generating software and framework agreements, providing a strong project pipeline.
