Job Description

The Children and Young Peoples (ChYPS) Sussex Family Eating Disorder Service have an exciting opportunity for a fixed term, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Specialty Doctor. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to children and adolescents with eating disorders and their families.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide assessment and treatment for children and adolescents with eating disorders.
2. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
3. Engage with families to provide support and education regarding eating disorders.
4. Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
5. Contribute to the training and supervision of junior staff and medical students.

Qualifications:

1. Medical degree and full registration with the GMC.
2. Experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health services.
3. Specialist training or experience in eating disorders is desirable.
