An established industry player is seeking a Specialty Behavioral Clinician for a fulltime onsite role. The Specialty Behavioral Clinician is a fulltime onsite position located at Worcester Health Care for the Homeless (WHCH) (formally HOAP), which provides trauma-informed medical and behavior health services to individuals experiencing homelessness. The goal is to create a welcoming, empowering, and dignified medical home for those we serve. Our team-based approach provides care in our newly renovated clinic located at 199 Chandler Street as well as various outreach clinics within the City of Worcester. In addition to medical and behavior health services, patients can access case management, recovery coaches, and Office Based Assisted Treatment (OBAT) for substance-use disorder.
The Specialty Behavioral Health Clinician will provide clinical assessments and counseling to FHCW clients. The Clinician will work together with other behavioral health clinicians to continually assess the needs and expectations of clients. The Clinician will engage in and support productivity in order to ensure access to the clients seeking services. The Clinician will also work directly with medical providers to collaboratively address clients/patients’ needs and to support optimal medical and behavioral health.
Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling required.
LMHC and LICSW candidates require a minimum of two years post-graduate clinical experience. Minimum of two years post-graduate experience for the PsyD candidate is preferred. Direct clinical work with individuals, children, and families is required.
LICSW, LMHC, or PsyD required.
Clinical supervision of interns and LCSW, as appropriate.
Reports directly to the Director of Worcester Health Care for the Homeless.
