Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Pharmacy team as a Specialist Technician - Technical Services. You will be part of a team responsible for the provision of aseptically dispensed products, which include chemotherapy, radiopharmaceuticals, and intravenous additives providing a high-quality aseptic service to meet the needs of the trust and external customers.
In the absence of the Team Leader and Unit Manager you will be asked to supervise staff and manage the day to day running of the unit. The post holder will work in close collaboration with other professionals e.g., Pharmacists, nurses, and other Pharmacy staff. At all times you will be expected to work in accordance with laid down procedures and safe systems of work while working on your own. The post holder will undertake within SOP's the checking of manufactured items.
If the applicants have the appropriate aseptic experience, we will consider applicants who will be qualifying within 3 months, providing they register with either the General Pharmaceutical Council or science council, upon qualifying.
