12 month fixed term or secondment opportunity as a Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist in Early Years
This is an ideal opportunity for those who are passionate about working with preschool aged children with a range of speech, language and communication needs, in a clinic setting. Our caseload is primarily children under the age of 5, with opportunities to work with older children and young people who stammer or require support with their speech sounds. You will work alongside Speech & Language Therapists and SLT Assistants, providing support to children and their families. You will deliver individual and group therapy, offer initial assessment and support the team with our daily drop-in clinic offer. We also work closely with Lewisham education settings, delivering training and support, and nursery visits for specific children.
Our people are our greatest asset. When we feel supported and happy at work, this positivity reaches those very people we are here for, the patients. Engaged employees perform at their best and our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) initiatives contribute to cultivate a culture of engagement.
Please see the attached job description and person specification for further details on the clinical and non-clinical aspects of the role.
