Are you ready to be part of something more than just 'work'? Do you want to make a difference to children with cancer and haematology conditions at a world-leading paediatric centre?
At BWC we believe in changing lives together. If you're tired of sifting through job adverts and want to be a part of a team that values determination, compassion, and going the extra mile, then you've come to the right place. You will be joining us at a very exciting period with the imminent rollout of our new EPR which is going to transform the way we work.
BWC Pharmacy isn't just looking for hardworking and ambitious candidates. We're seeking individuals who embody compassion, instinctive care, and a commitment to excellence.
As a valued member of our pharmacy team, your role goes beyond providing medication. It's about creating a happy, friendly, and welcoming environment for our patients and their families. Amidst the joys, drama and unpredictability of a fast-paced environment, your determination and care will make all the difference in the lives of those who need it most.
We are looking for dynamic, organised and motivated pharmacists who wish to further develop specialist skills within this area. Our preparation services are outsourced so you will support planning ahead for treatment and help manage the supply from our suppliers.
You must possess the vision, energy, enthusiasm and influencing skills to deliver the safest possible care to our patients in the fast-paced, high-risk area.
You will be part of the haematology and oncology team, working alongside clinicians on advising on treatments. You will be part of MDTs and have the opportunity to get involved in testing groundbreaking therapies, deciding on treatment strategies for the rare conditions we encounter and managing compassionate use supplies for our vulnerable patient groups.
Our families are at the heart of what we do and we would like to develop better ways of supporting patients to know more about their medicines and how to get the best from them.
BWC Pharmacy Department is a busy department dealing with a wide range of specialties from general paediatrics to highly specialised services. We pride ourselves on being a friendly department within a welcoming Trust with many opportunities to develop your skills, explore new ways of working and be at the forefront of new technologies. We have strong links with academia and strongly support individuals at all levels looking to progress in education and research.
