About the team

We are looking for a dedicated IT Security Risk Analyst Specialist to join our team and assist in the identification, assessment, and mitigation of IT security risks within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT security risk analysis and a passion for safeguarding our organization's digital assets.

What you'll own

  • Develop and implement IT security risk management strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to our IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate the impact of identified risks and develop appropriate risk mitigation plans.
  • Monitor and analyze security metrics to proactively identify and address emerging risks.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest IT security trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams on security risk management principles and practices.
  • Liaise with external partners, vendors, and regulatory bodies on IT security risk-related matters.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on the status of IT security risk management initiatives.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field, or the combination of demonstrable relevant experience and skills.
  • One or more certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
  • Applied knowledge of security risk frameworks, for example, ISO 27001, NIST Cyber Security Framework, CIS Controls and Cloud Controls Matrix.
  • Understanding of quantitative risk management models, for example, FAIR.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT security principles, practices, and technologies.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
