A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Specialist Dietitian, or newly qualified Dietitian looking for a Band 5-6 development post, to facilitate the dietetic delivery of the Weight Management Service across Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB). The service aligns to the All Wales Weight Management Pathway at Level 2, and will offer evidence-based opportunities for adults in North Wales who wish to lose weight to improve their health.
The Specialist Dietitian will support the Lead Dietitians in the development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of best practice in relation to the Level 2 Service across the Health Board, working as an integral member of, and in partnership with multi-agency community teams. The Service comprises Team Leads and Specialist Dietitians, alongside Dietetic Assistants, working across the Health Board.
You will also remain a key member of the dietetic team, joining an enthusiastic and friendly team of dietitians delivering services in acute and primary care, and public health. We deliver clinical placements for students and have secretarial and assistant support.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
