Role: Specialist Clinical Pharmacist (Oncology and Haematology)

Site: London Bridge Hospital, Private Care at Guys, Central London

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Competitive Depending on Experience with Excellent Benefits

We are looking for a Specialist Clinical Oncology & Haematology Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Team at the London Bridge Hospital, currently rated "Outstanding" by the CQC.

London Bridge Hospital is one of the UK’s largest private healthcare hospitals specialising in complex and acute care. Spread over three main buildings and five outpatient centres, it is home to a number of specialist units and teams across a wide range of disciplines including orthopaedic, spinal, digestive diseases, liver, hepatobiliary, renal, cardiothoracic, critical care, cancer, and transplant services.

Main Duties of the Job

The successful post holder will participate in the delivery, management and development of a high quality, proactive, cost-effective, safe and responsive patient-centric systemic anti-cancer (SACT) pharmacy service at London Bridge Hospital: Private Care at Guys. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with (and at times deputise for) the Lead Pharmacist for Oncology and Haematology and other members of our multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that our patients are able to safely access the very latest treatments in oncology and haematology.

Job Responsibilities

Person Specification

Experience

  • What you’ll bring:
  • MPharm or equivalent (essential)
  • Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Post graduate diploma/masters in clinical pharmacy or equivalent would be desirable
  • Experience in delivering a clinical pharmacy service to wards (essential, post-registration)
  • Previous experience of working in Oncology
  • Practical experience in an Aseptic Production Unit & GMP (essential)
  • Mosaiq, BD Cato, Meditech knowledge (desirable)
