Within the Cash Services Transformation Management Office, the selected Specialist will be responsible for supporting and advancing the governance in place across all Cash Services change.

Supporting project delivery, management transparency, capital management, release management governance.

The select individual will also lead a small global team, supporting all of these activities and will report into the head of the Cash Services Transformation Management Office.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Oversight for all release planning coordination - scope of functionality being released, associated OKR benefits, Go-No-Go sign off coordination across multiple global stakeholders
  • Responsibility for Global Release management runbook - results in zero production impacts (internal or external) while delivering the goals of the organization at the required pace
  • Support root cause analysis and remediation plans, around volume of defects, features pulled pre release, throughput of scrum teams
  • Ensure business and other key stakeholders are engaged in the change agenda to a sufficient degree that they can make an informed decision with the required level of assurance ahead of release
  • Coordinating Operational Readiness Meeting - test results are reviewed and signed off, where defects are detected - a determination is made as to whether these can be fixed pre release, pulled or implemented 'as-is'
  • Hosting the Go/No Go meetings with cash services operations and technology leadership
  • Advancing Cash Service release governance oversight - incorporating additional applications which today are not considered in scope, coordinating Cash services best practice for input to a wider Asset Servicing standard
  • Review change management project updates and investigate / challenge any headwinds - summarizing executive project status reporting
  • Preparation for and coordination with NT governance oversight council, Cash IZ stakeholder meeting and additional governance frameworks to ensure said changes conforms to NT standards and risk tolerance.
  • Oversight of deployment and post deployment production monitoring executed by the global release management team
  • Point of central coordination with NT Enterprise Change Management Office - supporting enhanced governance and change management practices
  • Serving as the main point of entry into Cash Services for all change activity requests from business stakeholders & the DMO
  • Support for Cash Service capital management process - organizing around capital forecasting, completeness & coordination around quarterly revalidation of funding
  • Progression and leadership for wider Cash Service Transformation Management initiatives

Additional responsibilities include:
  • Overall accountability for performance management and career development programs for the function.
  • Developing and executing solutions around the people side of change to ensure organizational readiness, acceptance, and adoption of large change initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise
  • Proven experience liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity
  • Proven leader with extensive business experience, and broad functional expertise, with focus on proactive strategic leadership
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, non-verbal and written
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change
  • Knowledge of business strategy development
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills
  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience
