Job description

Student Support Worker

Location: Taunton, TA2

Hours: Full-time, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Contract: Temporary with the view to go permanent

We are working closely with an SEN School in Taunton who are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Teaching Assistant. The team excels in delivering tailored occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, and emotional regulation support, empowering each student to thrive.

Your Role: As an integral part of our team, you will provide hands-on support to children with autism, ADHD and related communication challenges. You'll apply a fusion of innovative strategies, encouraging social, emotional and academic growth. Engage with learners in both structured and natural environments, ensuring they receive the highest quality support personalized to their unique needs.

If You Are:

  1. Profoundly interested in special educational needs (SEND)
  2. Have at least 3 months experience in working with children or vulnerable adults
  3. A collaborative spirit ready to join our multidisciplinary team
  4. Motivated to help students soar beyond perceived limitations
