About The Role

Position: SEND Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant

Location: NEWTON ABBOTT

Start Date: ASAP

Contract Type: Long-term roles with potential to go permanent

Working Hours: Full-time (part-time may be available depending on role)

As someone with SEND experience, you will work closely with children who have specific learning and / or physical difficulties or additional needs, providing them with the tailored support they require to flourish in their educational journey.

You’ll also have access to on-the-job training and resources to continually grow your skills.

Requirements

  1. Experience supporting children with SEND (professionally or personally)
  2. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with children and their families
  3. A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude toward supporting children with additional needs
  4. A collaborative approach to working alongside teachers, parents, and other professionals
  5. Be available asap on a full time basis
