Join Our Team as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)
Full-Time | Term-Time Only | Pupil Referral Unit | Telford

About the Role:
As an SEN TA, you will work alongside a passionate team to support pupils facing challenges in mainstream schools. Your role will be crucial in providing assessment and intervention that helps students overcome barriers to learning and stay in education.

  1. Support pupils with SEN to engage in their learning and grow in confidence
  2. Assist with personalised learning plans that address each pupil's unique needs
  3. Build positive, trusting relationships with students, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and supported

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  2. Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
  3. Has excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
  4. Is patient, resilient, and adaptable, able to support students with a wide range of needs
  5. Works well in a team but can also take the initiative when needed
