Spanish Teacher / Spanish ECT - Lewisham - September 2025
A 'Good' graded secondary school (11-18) on a transformative journey is searching for a strong Spanish Teacher / Spanish ECT to join them this September. The school has gone from strength to strength in the past two years, with a new SLT driving the school forward, improving results, behaviour and most importantly, teacher wellbeing, workload management and retention!
The MFL team has a range of specialists, including French, meaning they are keen to find a Spanish Teacher / Spanish ECT to teach Spanish KS3-KS5. If you're an ECT, there is the option to focus on KS3 & KS4 whilst you perfect your craft, but equally KS5 teaching is welcomed for strong ECTs.
If you're an experienced Spanish Teacher, there is the opportunity to take on a "Head of Spanish" TLR, attracting a reduced teaching timetable and a TLR2B £6200. The senior leadership team is passionate about staff retention, focusing on improving workload and wellbeing as much as possible.
