Job description

Spanish Teacher - Full-Time - East Birmingham

Aspire People are recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in East Birmingham, who are seeking a full-time Spanish Teacher to join their team. This position is to start as soon as possible and will run until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

Location: East Birmingham (near Bordesley Green area)
Role: Spanish Teacher (KS3 and KS4)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time until July 2025 (potential permanent opportunity)

Responsibilities:
  1. Teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4
  2. Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
  3. Marking, assessing, and supporting pupils' progress
  4. Maintaining a positive classroom environment and high standards of behaviour
Ideal Candidate:
  1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  2. Have experience teaching Spanish in UK secondary schools
  3. Be confident with curriculum delivery and classroom management
  4. Be committed, reliable, and enthusiastic about modern foreign languages
