Spanish Teacher - Hounslow

A well-established boys' secondary school located in Hounslow is seeking a passionate and dynamic Spanish Teacher to join their team. The school is looking for someone to start on a long-term contract from April till at least July 2025. This is a full-time position, but the school is open to considering part-time applicants. Working hours are from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. The salary will match the Outer London MPS/UPS scale. Parking spaces are available for staff.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver expert Spanish instruction, guiding students through the intricacies of the Spanish language, culture, and literature, while helping them gain practical communication skills.
2. Support students' linguistic development by fostering their speaking, listening, reading, and writing abilities in Spanish, ensuring they become confident and proficient in using the language.
3. Encourage a passion for languages, nurturing students' curiosity about Spanish-speaking cultures, encouraging critical thinking, and developing their language skills in real-life contexts.
4. Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment where students feel safe to express themselves and are encouraged to achieve their full potential in both language and personal growth.
5. Promote the values of the school, contributing to a vibrant and ambitious learning community where students are empowered and proud of their achievements.
