Job Description:
In our HPC/AI division we focus on cutting edge, high-performance, high-scale customer solutions serving a wide range of industries and end-users. Our organization includes High Performance Computing (HPC) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), covering major verticals like Manufacture, Finance, Public Sector, Service Providers, Scientific Research, Weather, Energy, Defence and many more.
In a typical day as a Solution Architect for Sovereign AI and AI Factory, you would:
- Build strategic plans with ongoing revision to develop and grow our market share focusing on Sovereign AI, AI Factory business and more generally any national center supporting national AI strategies as well as Large Enterprises and other key segments.
- Work with / or without Sales early in the process to:
- Articulate the overall value of HPE Sovereign AI frameworks and AI Factory solutions.
- Technically architect and qualify complete system level solutions (infrastructure, software, integration requirements, advisory and professional services, strategic and business case value justification and other as needed analysis), that meet the opportunity requirements.
- Advise sales and customers on the recommended technical and strategic approach and complete solution.
- Architect end-to-end solutions with deep technical expertise in all aspects of HPE HPC and AI solutions including HPC infrastructure design, IT runtime platforms, MLOPS tools and platforms, HPCM platform, observability tools and cyber security stacks.
- Drive architecture of solutions to ensure customers' AI business and technical requirements are met.
- Lead innovation, thought leadership, and technical solutions, ensuring consensus and support across key stakeholders, such as sales, SAs, TAs, Digital Presales, and Product Management in complex HPC/AI deals.
- Drive and develop thought leadership and trust with Government and Enterprise senior leaders and key decision-makers, including in-depth presentations at all levels of customer organization and up to C-Level.
Proposal development:
- Translate customer business and functional objectives to technical solution requirements.
- Shape/customize solutions across the entire company portfolio (products, services, solutions).
- Shape/customize solutions with external portfolios (products, services, solutions) and partners as needed.
- Work with Sales to articulate technical value, present solutions, and overcome customer objections.
- Ensure smooth knowledge transfer and hand-over to the delivery team.
- Size, configure, and price the AI solution, using sizing best practices and appropriate HPE tooling.
- Establish and manage relationships with new and existing partners focused on integrations that facilitate adoption of our AI agent from clients.

If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education...
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in sales/business development/technical roles involving HPC and/or AI, machine learning, or related technologies.
- Strong experience in driving strategic mixed business and technological programs across large organizations.
- Strong understanding of AI Factory At Scale concepts and the Sovereign AI vision.
- Experience in designing and implementing HPC/AI solutions, preferably in customer-facing or enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of Sovereign AI use cases, governing bodies, and funding processes.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey Sovereign AI and AI Factory At Scale concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and various levels of leadership including C-suite.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Customer orientation and sales-driven attitude.
- Business fluency in English is a must; additional command of other European languages is beneficial.
