As a Field Trainer covering the South of the UK, you will be responsible for supporting the onboarding and development needs of the Retail field team through training and retail coaching on the point of sale. In addition to this, you will be supporting and partnering with Retail Management to curate a client-focused and successful sustainable business, utilizing training, retail coaching, and leadership empowerment tools. In this role, you will be a role model who leads by example, motivating and developing all Beauty Consultants.
This is a field-based role that will involve travel and overnight stays. Most of your time will be spent supporting retail development needs and providing training at our counters or workshops. The rest of the time will be dedicated to planning, attending meetings (with retail stakeholders, educational stakeholders, and other key stakeholders), and creating bespoke training plans based on local needs.
Main Accountabilities
Onboarding:
- Facilitate, manage and follow-up the Beauty Advisor onboarding journey per individual and retailer business model:
- Cross-Métier collaboration on all onboarding touchpoints
- Effectively onboard all new joiners to ensure they are fully operational within the probationary period
- Integrate bespoke Blended Learning methods. Example: POS training, digital, retail coaching & classroom training
- Act as a mentor/tutor for the new joiners in the field.
Education & Retail Excellence:- Meet regularly with Retail Stakeholders to support KPI settings and define priorities for areas of collaboration. Support and identify business opportunities that could be accelerated through training and retail coaching.
- Evaluate the impact of learning solutions within their area of responsibility and provide performance reports.
- Develop and grow both new and existing retail teams, ensuring they comply with the standards and expectations set by La Prairie.
- Identify training needs through KPI tracking/assessment and on-counter observations, share feedback. Deliver bespoke retail coaching and training solutions/action plans to enhance individual and store team business performance.
- Identify development needs and implement effective solutions via development dialogs and personal development plans.
- Support talent development and progression across retail functions.
- Collaborate closely with Local and Regional education teams to ensure regular feedback is provided regarding the development needs of the local market.
- Support counter managers to develop their leadership skills and behaviors in alignment with the HR/People strategy.
- Set the agenda for each store visit to maximize the effectiveness of the retail coaching and training of each individual or team.
- Act as a Brand Ambassador for events and partner meetings.
- Support the team as necessary by taking an active role in the field in order to understand real-time issues/challenges and come with a diagnostic to better support the team.
- Continually share the strategy and the key initiatives through retail coaching and training.
- Feedback clear field visit reports to the management team to highlight areas for improvement and development, ensuring a clear action plan is set.
Deliver trainings on Innovations, Product knowledge, Product Services Experience (AOB Paid and Complimentary, AOP and Complexion) & Client Experience.- Support the Regional and Local Education Leads in conducting and facilitating client experience-related training.
- Develop and elevate the Beauty Advisor's skills and knowledge in clienteling, client experience and the client journey.
- Conduct and facilitate CRM training in the field, including the use of POS clienteling tool.
- Emergency counter cover for top doors only.
To fulfil this full-time role, you must be fully flexible with the ability to work five days from Mondays to Fridays. You may also be required to work Saturdays for events or special circumstances.
