A Monday to Friday Sous Chef job in London, paying £20.10 per hour, has become available for a Global Company with Staff Offices across London.

Monday to Friday Sous Chef job in London, Highlights:


  1. Full time, permanent position.
  2. £20.10 per hour
  3. 37.5 Hours per week contract
  4. Overtime paid hourly (usually 40-45 hours per week available in total)
  5. Monday to Friday only.
  6. Mostly daytime hours (7am-3:30pm).
  7. Every other week you will work 2 evening shifts.
  8. Free staff meals on shift.
  9. Located a short walk from Kings Cross station.

Monday to Friday Sous Chef job in London, Role Overview:


This Sous Chef position is responsible for supporting the Head Chef in leading the team which provides fresh, high-quality food for staff within a leading corporate office. You will be working with highly generous budgets for the food offering, and you will have consistent input to the offering which can change on a daily basis. For this reason; the role will suit a skilled Chef who has a genuine passion for food and wants to utilise that passion every day at work.


This is a hands-on role, leading the team from the front on a day-to-day basis. But as this is a role within contract catering, you will also need to be comfortable with the 'paperwork' side of the role such as stocks, ordering systems, menu planning etc.


As a key and valued member of the leadership team, the ideal candidate will be a strong leader who can guide, nurture and manage the team beneath them.


Monday to Friday Sous Chef job in London, Required Experience:


  1. Strong experience as a skilled Chef in a fresh food environment is non-negotiable, as you will be working with a wide variety of produce (including menu planning).
  2. Strong leadership qualities (ideally already working at Sous Chef level)
