Sous Chef wanted for this Italian casual dining restaurant which is part of a successful group. The restaurant currently holds a Bib Gourmand and you will be creating modern Italian cuisine using the best quality produce available. All pasta, breads and sauces are made fresh on site.
This is a growing company with 2 new openings planned for next year. We are looking for strong chefs who want to grow with a successful restaurant group.
As Sous Chef, I would expect you to have excellent communication skills, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. You should have experience in all aspects of kitchen management, such as menu writing and costing, stock taking, rotas, cleaning schedules, and dealing with suppliers. Experience with Italian dining is not essential for this role but would obviously be an advantage.
