Job description

The Tollemache Arms is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join our award-winning kitchen team, winners of Great British Pub of the Year, Midland pub of the Yeat at the National pub and bar awards, Licensee of the years winners by the BII to name a few. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will support the Head Chef in delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect our commitment to quality and innovation in British cuisine.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Head Chef in menu development and execution, focusing on seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.

- Lead and motivate kitchen team members, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.

- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety compliance, and staff training.

- Collaborate in maintaining a positive and efficient working environment while upholding the pub’s reputation for excellence.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in a similar role.
