Sourcing Assistant

The role:

  1. Support the Sourcing Manager in supplier audits, contract negotiations, and benchmarking exercises.
  2. Maintain supplier records, agreements, and performance dashboards.
  3. Collect and analyse market data on materials, logistics, and regional production costs. Assist in risk-assessed project timelines with Estimating & Project Teams.
  4. Ensure suppliers meet quality, service, and ethical standards.
  5. Identify sourcing opportunities and engage in contract negotiations.
  6. Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events across Europe & Asia.

About you:

  1. Degree-educated with a passion for supply chain management.
  2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify market trends.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  4. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  5. Willingness to travel and engage with global suppliers.
  6. Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of technical drawings is a plus.
