Role Overview
Sort Team Leader
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Wednesbury
Salary: £27,060 per annum
Shift pattern: Sunday to Thursday 09:00 to 17:30
Hours: 40hrs
What you'll be doing
As one of our Sort Team Leaders, you will report to the Sort Team Managers, giving regular updates on the sort operation. You will coordinate a team of Sorter Loaders to ensure that they are sorting and loading parcels to and from the trailers in a timely and efficient manner.
What you need to show us
You will have the ability to work within a team and lead by example, working in all parts of the parcel sort centre. You will ensure all parcels are scanned as required and manually sort the parcels into the correct loading bays and onto our HGV trailers. Excellent attention to detail is necessary to spot check for parcel miss-sorts and damaged parcels.
