Main duties of the jobWe are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Sonographers to work in our busy and well equipped ultrasound departments at either of our main sites Epsom General Hospital or St Helier Hospital. We offer experience in all Ultrasound imaging techniques including Abdominal, Vascular, Musculoskeletal, Paediatric, Obstetric and Gynaecological with Nuchal scanning. The Ultrasound department at Epsom consists of 5 general ultrasound rooms, one vascular ultrasound room and one dedicated ultrasound room in our maternity unit for obstetric scans. The ultrasound department at St Helier consists of 5 general ultrasound rooms with a dedicated paediatric service within our children's unit and dedicated obstetric ultrasound rooms in the maternity unit as well as a satellite service at the Jubilee Health Centre. You will need to be motivated, well organised, and demonstrate a caring professional manner with good patient interaction. We are a progressive department fully committed to CPD and professional development and will consider applicants willing to develop skills in specialist areas such as MSK or Paediatric imaging.
