The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Sommelier to join a renowned venue known for its luxury and high-end hospitality.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, guest-focused professional who is passionate about wine and dedicated to providing exceptional service.If you have a background in luxury or members’ club environments and are looking to advance your career, we’d love to hear from you.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A guest-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Experience in a luxury or members’ club environment is highly desirable.
  • WSET Level 2 or 3 qualification preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and connect with guests.
  • Strong wine knowledge and a genuine interest in sharing that knowledge with others.
  • Willingness to work late finishes on weekends (until around 1am).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service, offering expert recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
  • Oversee wine stock, including ordering, inventory control, and ensuring proper storage.
  • Foster strong engagement with guests, creating a personalised and memorable experience.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure smooth service and high-quality standards at all times.
  • Support and train staff on wine knowledge and service excellence.
  • Stay current with industry trends, new wine arrivals, and best practices to continually elevate the guest experience.
