DESCRIPTION

Interested in leveraging your program management, digital advertising and relationship management skills to help Amazon.com develop and grow new advertising programs? Amazon is seeking an experienced Solutions Manager with a love of learning and experimentation to operate and evolve non-standard ad programs for Amazon's largest advertising clients. As a Solutions Manager, you will be focused on managing custom advertising programs that help customers discover, research, and buy from leading brands and categories across Amazon. You will be working cross-functionally with Advertising Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Design/Web Development in addition to multiple Amazon and Amazon owned & operated teams. In this capacity, you will own the program's strategy, performance, product roadmap, and revenue goals, and act as the single point of contact for all internal communications and during product execution.

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. Own your programs' product definition, positioning, packaging, and pricing.
  2. Track and report on performance, ensuring each program is delivering differentiated value against its intended objective.
  3. Leverage customer feedback to drive continuous program improvement.
  4. Build business rationale to inform the prioritization of your programs' roadmap.
  5. Build business requirements and user stories for proposed feature enhancements and work with Design Technologists and Engineers to scope, prototype, build, and scale.
  6. Apply experimentation frameworks to program enhancements to validate their value to customers.
  7. Own program operations, including workflow and training documentation and coordination with account teams.
  8. Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences.
  9. Present confidently to Amazon senior management as well as other large audiences.
  10. Work at all levels in the organization, with no job being considered too large or small.
  11. Develop overall solution plans that meet operational requirements, project manage the execution of custom advertising solutions and ensure that stakeholders have all the inputs required.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  1. Technically validate and thoroughly scope a variety of different customer experiences, providing in-depth functional requirements and timelines, aligned with creative, technical, legal teams, testing teams, etc.
  2. Project manage complex campaigns from the conceptual phase to go live, utilizing various project management methodologies to ensure success.
  3. Constantly develop and drive new advertising product innovations that are outside of our standard product card by engaging with customers, creative teams, and management to deliver unique solutions for our strategic advertising partners.
  4. Manage ad hoc requests for new advertising concepts that can be delivered rapidly in a quickly and thoroughly manner.
  5. Manage client meetings to assess goals, objectives, and requests in terms of advertising solutions to drive forward required solutions.
  6. Work cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit.
  7. Develop overall solution plans that meet operational requirements, project manage the execution of custom advertising solutions and ensure that stakeholders have all the inputs required.
  8. Present confidently to Amazon senior management, external clients, and other large audiences.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience in digital advertising and client-facing roles.
  2. Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers.
  3. Experience with annual brand and media planning.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience in e-commerce or online advertising.
  2. Experience in omni-channel marketing, search engine marketing or search engine optimization.
