Solutions Architect IT (Financial services)

I am recruiting for an IT solutions architect to work for a financial services client. This role will involve a large data technology transformation project at scale, moving information of data from on-prem to the cloud.

1. Experience in solution designing and architecture end-to-end, creating designs, etc.
2. Experience with a range of technologies including Messaging & Middleware, Microservices, Cloud, and Data Streaming.
3. Cloud technology experience such as Azure, AWS, etc.
4. Experience with big data and moving data from on-prem to cloud technologies.
5. Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the business and stakeholders.
6. Digital delivery in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
7. Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
8. Experience in regulated environments.
9. Experience in Financial Fraud, Debit & Credit Cards, Payments (FPS, SWIFT, CHAPS, BACS), Core banking processing, and Treasury Systems.
10. Payments / Banking / Financial services experience is a must.

This role will be mostly remote with some travel to the office when required for meetings. This is a contract role starting in January 2025 (for six months) inside IR35 paying between £575pd - £625pd through an umbrella company.
