Solution Architect – Financial Services

Do you have a true passion for building innovative Financial Services products? This niche award-winning business within the Banking/Payments space is looking for an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to take a key role in defining and delivering software and solutions architectures that supports the creation of their new microservices platform.

Responsibilities of a Senior Solution Architect – Financial Services include:

1. Architectural designs encompassing the target solutions architecture
2. Architecture delivered against requirements for security, scalability, performance and availability
3. Driving quality through adoption of standards and best practice
4. Building close working relationships with engineering & the wider technology group
5. Leading architecture & design reviews throughout the whole Development lifecycle
6. Supporting product management, defining and refining solutions architecture to support new product capabilities

Skills and experience of a Senior Solution Architect - Financial Services:

1. Ability to design & implement end-to-end application and technical architectures for highly concurrent, real-time transactional systems
2. Experienced in conceptual, application, integration, logical and physical modelling
3. Experience of analysing and implementing solutions to meet both functional and non-functional requirements
4. Experience of producing low-level software architectures
5. Deep Microservices background
6. Experience across modern architectural / delivery standards and methods including Agile, TDD, BDD, CI/CD automation, DevOps practices
7. Ability to build and develop relationships across all levels of the business
8. Experience and appreciation for the Payments Industry is preferred but not essential

In return you will receive a day rate of between £700 - £750 per day, this is an inside IR35.
