Xpertise are excited to be working with a multi-national organisation in the retail sector to source them a Solution Architect to join their Technology team, with a focus on their Supply Chain department. The scope of work varies but surrounds understanding how different IT systems interface with each other across the business and the designing of new solutions and system changes.

I’m looking to speak and meet with individuals who have demonstrable experience working as a Solution Architect, ideally within a Supply Chain and/or Retail environment, who possess the capabilities needed to be successful in this role. Personality is a crucial factor to this role and I’m looking for individuals who have excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic nature.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Understand how different IT systems interface with each other across the business
• Evaluate and authenticate how new solutions embed within the existing architecture
• Collaborate with the business to design new solutions and system changes
• Accountable for ensuring new systems adhere to the required security and audit standards
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience required:

• 3+ years experience as a Solution Architect, ideally within the Supply Chain and/or Retail sector – Or a similar role
• Familiarity with Relex isn’t a necessity but would really strengthen your application
• A strong understanding of technical architecture
