Solution Architect

We are searching for a Solution Architect who will be crucial in driving the development of high-quality contactless ticketing solutions for transport across the UK. You will lead the architectural direction for a system that integrates platforms with payment schemes, industry partners, and future systems.

Responsibilities

1. Lead solution architecture across your assigned ticketing domain
2. Maintain technical documentation, including data flows and integration designs
3. Evaluate design options and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and policy
4. Collaborate with delivery teams, project managers, and suppliers to ensure effective delivery
5. Own the Architecture Definition Document and present solutions to governance boards

Minimum Requirements

1. AWS Certified Solution Architect or equivalent experience
2. TOGAF or similar architecture certification
3. Strong experience leading architecture in complex, multi-stakeholder settings
4. Expertise in API gateways and integration design
5. Solid knowledge of AWS and cloud platforms
