What You Will Be Doing

1. Architecting and delivering enterprise scale cloud solutions using AWS and Azure.
2. Driving the transformation from monolithic applications to a unified, modular and scalable architecture.
3. Setting the standard for API first and microservices based system design.
4. Engaging closely with product teams to ensure seamless alignment between business needs and technical execution.
5. Leading architectural reviews and championing technical governance to embed security, scalability and resilience into every solution.
6. Partnering with engineers to prototype, validate and implement emerging technologies that push the boundaries of innovation.
7. Playing a pivotal role in defining and executing the company’s long term digital and cloud transformation strategy.

What You Bring

1. A proven track record as a Solution Architect in large scale SaaS or enterprise environments.
2. Deep expertise in cloud native technologies (AWS preferred, Azure also welcome) and distributed systems architecture.
3. A strong software engineering foundation in .NET, event driven architectures, SQL and NoSQL databases.
4. Expertise in containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
5. A rare combination of strategic vision and hands on technical leadership.
6. The ability to influence C suite executives as effectively as you mentor and collaborate with engineers.
7. Exceptional problem solving skills, a bias for action and an unrelenting focus on creating world class solutions.
8. The communication ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business insights.
