In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop into the renewable energy sector while also focusing on commercial property matters, varying from English property transactions and projects to being involved in larger renewable projects. The successful candidate can be offered development into becoming dual qualified. In addition, the role can be worked remotely with occasional travel to their head office in Scotland.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor with English property experience who is now looking to build on their specialist expertise by benefiting from real development and progression opportunities.

The role:

1. Deliver legal advice and services in property and energy law ranging from planning, land rights, and renewables.
2. Provide support on project management for larger energy or land projects.
3. Draft and negotiate contracts, offers, options, leases, and ranking agreements for solar, wind, and battery storage projects.
4. Conduct research into technical energy and commercial property matters.

The Person:

1. Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE in English property and leasing transactions.
2. Previous experience of land referencing, assembly, and infrastructure easements and options (desirable).
3. Opportunity to develop into the renewable energy sector and become dual qualified.
