Solar Project Technicians

Site based - ideally located in South West of England


Belectric UK is seeking

hands-on problem solvers

with a keen

interest in solar technology. We are looking for

Solar Project Technicians

to join our rapidly expanding Operations & Maintenance team to assist in

maintenance,

troubleshooting

and

enhancement

of our existing

solar systems, including

upgrades,

repairs

and performance optimization. If you have experience in

solar PV installation and maintenance, we want to hear from you!

Your Role:


  1. Assist in installation, maintenance and repair of solar PV systems, including inverters, panels and battery storage
  2. Conduct system inspections
  3. Support the execution of additional services, including upgrades, panel cleaning, electrical adjustments and warranty-related work
  4. General maintenance of commercial PV sites
  5. Unloading materials, moving equipment
  6. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  7. Basic groundwork and mechanical tasks
  8. Follow health and safety regulations
  9. Operate tools and machinery

What We’re Looking For:


  1. Relevant qualifications in electrical or renewable energy engineering (NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds 2365/2330, or equivalent)
  2. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification is desirable
  3. Previous experience in solar PV installation and maintenance
  4. Working knowledge of electrical systems and components
  5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  6. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  7. Full UK driving licence (essential)
  8. CSCS/ECS card (desirable)
  9. Previous experience in construction, electrical, or mechanical work, preferably in the solar industry
