Low Carbon Recruitment Ltd are currently working with a leading provider of renewable energy infrastructure and systems to the public and private sectors who are looking for a Solar O&M Engineer to join the O&M Team in the South West, maintaining Solar Farm and Roof Mount Solar sites throughout the South West & South Wales. They were voted in the top 1000 companies to work for in the UK and have won awards for 'Best Contractor' and were recently recognised for this by the Industry Association awarding us the Contribution to Net Zero award.
Day to day your role will be travelling to Solar Farm sites as well as commercial properties such as Hospitals and Universities to maintain both ground mount and roof mount Solar PV systems. Your main duties will be undertaking planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with site procedures, guidelines, and management instruction as well as ensuring all Quality Management and Compliance Documentation for O&M activities is correct and complete for each site.
As well as Solar Sites, the company also work on District Heating Plant Rooms, Heat Pumps, Biomass and other renewable energy systems which they will give you full training on! This is an excellent opportunity to gain further skills in other areas of the industry and they will put you through training, qualifications and much more.
The company are also committed to offering progression opportunities to internal staff. The current O&M Team Leader began his time in this role before moving to Team Leader and will shortly be moving into a management position with the company. Due to this being a mobile role, a full UK licence is required.
