Your Role as a Commercial Solar Sales Executive

This is your opportunity to lead the charge in shaping the UK’s commercial renewable energy market. Reporting to the Sales Director, you’ll be at the forefront of expanding our Solar energy solutions, taking ownership of sales strategies, and building lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive Sales Success: Achieve (and surpass!) your personal annual sales target of £1.25m.
  2. Grow the Business: Identify new opportunities, develop tailored strategies, and secure commercial clients.
  3. Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with marketing and telesales teams to create seamless customer journeys.
  4. Showcase Your Expertise: Represent Plug Me In at networking events and industry forums.
  5. Stay One Step Ahead: Analyse market trends and competitors to keep us at the cutting edge.
  6. Upsell & Cross-Sell: Spot opportunities to bundle solutions like EV chargers and heat pumps for maximum client impact.

  1. A proven sales track record with Commercial Solar experience.
  2. A talent for building relationships that last.
  3. Familiarity with CRM tools to track and optimise your pipeline.
  4. Creative problem-solving skills to meet client needs and fine-tune your approach.
  5. A Full UK Driving Licence (this is a field-based role).
  6. Knowledge of renewable energy solutions, plus an understanding of business operations and financial principles.
