Software Tester - Cardiff - Hybrid based - Software Development company - 26,000 - 32,000 + Excellent benefits

The business is an established and award-winning supplier of digital business solutions to the public and private sectors. They focus on E-Commerce and Facility Management solutions with an impressive selection of clients.

This exciting opportunity will suit a talented Software Tester who is well versed in Manual Testing.

They are a big believer in sharing thoughts and encouraging and supporting innovation and creativity. The Software Tester will also be given the chance to be involved in all aspects of the project process from conception through to completion and launch.

Experience in:

1. Manual testing of web applications and mobile applications
2. Working with Agile methodologies
3. Test planning, executing test, and logging defects, liaising with development teams to feedback on defects or improvements.
4. Experience of testing and ensuring QA

The role will include:

1. Producing and maintaining test plans and test cases from analysing specifications
2. Developing and executing test cases and recording and reporting outcomes
3. Identifying and recording of defects
4. Communicating results with team members
5. Reviewing test results and modifying tests if necessary
6. Contributing to test process improvements

1. Proactive mindset - when testing software, look for opportunities for improvement as well as testing for defects.
2. Collaborate with other QA team members, Developers, and Product Owners to understand software requirements.
3. Strong time management and excellent communication skills to ensure deadlines can be met within an Agile environment.
4. The ability to work independently while being a strong team player
5. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

You will be based in the Cardiff office 3 days per week so you will need to be based within commuting distance.
