NEW CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE WITHIN A LEADING AEROSPACE AND DEFENCE COMPANY FOR A SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER
- Leading aerospace and defence company
- 12-month initial contract with probability of extension
- Hybrid role – 3 days on-site requirement in Portsmouth
- Ability to obtain SC Clearance
WHAT WILL THE SOFTWARE ENGINEER BE DOING?
As a Software Test Engineer, you will be joining a team undertaking the test software aspects of modem products and associated communication systems. The team as a whole are responsible for undertaking the design and implementation of a satellite communications Software Defined Radio (SDR) modem. You will be part of a small multi-disciplinary team containing software, system, firmware and infrastructure engineers.
- Experience with Robot Framework as an automation tool
- Ability to architect, document, and implement integration tests in an embedded environment
- C++ software engineering experience on Linux platforms
- Git for software configuration control
- An active SC clearance is required
