Software Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer - Portsmouth - 12 Months

Your Role:

1. Responsible for creating Systems Design based upon the customer Requirements
2. Work with the System Design Authority and Product Owner to populate the Product Backlog based upon the customer Requirements
3. Capture the software architecture in the UML model
4. Capture and detail the interaction between Software components.
5. Generate ICD and IRD documentation
6. Able to perform peer review of work carried out by Colleagues
7. Offer support to Development Team on understanding of the System Model

About You:

1. Knowledge of SatCom
2. Experience on Defence based projects
3. Experience in UML/SysML Modelling
4. Knowledge of Radio Planning
5. Experience of working in an Agile environment
6. Knowledge or experience in Software Development
7. Ability to self-motivate and to work well within a team environment.
8. Ability to communicate on all levels
9. Ability to generate documentation to a high standard
10. Ability to interact with internal & external stakeholders in a confident and professional manner
