Software Engineer, Security

This is a technical hands-on role that is focused on delivery of technologies used to protect Apple. In this role, you will support our team in building and deploying highly scalable and efficient solutions that will identify and report security risks across our organisation. Description

The ideal candidate will be involved in helping to deliver and improve our in-house security products and services, taking care of solutions that need to scale across Apple and respond to the latest events within the security landscape. Experience with integrating and orchestrating different applications and tools efficiently across various networks and environments will be beneficial. The role will be a mix of hands-on development and assisting with architectural design.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven track record in software development and architecture in Go (Golang)
• Solid grasp of Linux operating systems and familiarity with networking concepts (e.g. socket programming)
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes, infrastructure as code (e.g. Pulumi and Terraform)
• Experience with metrics and analytics tools for monitoring and observability (e.g. Prometheus and Grafana)
• Experience with NoSQL (e.g. Couchbase)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with gRPC
• Experience with AWS
• Experience developing security auditing products
