About the Role
As a Java Software Engineer, you will be part of a cross-functional team working on the development of new products and enhancements. You will design, document, support, and implement new microservices, as well as maintain existing services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs
  • Develop and maintain cloud-native microservices applications using Java, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for microservices communication.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS
  • Deploy and manage microservices on AWS platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in complex microservices environments.

Requirements

  • Experience with Java Spring Boot and ideally a Cloud platform (AWS, GCP or Azure)
  • Experience building and deploying microservices using the Spring Boot framework
  • Able to design and document RESTful APIs for microservices communication
  • Able to work well with internal and external technology resources
  • Be a creative problem solver, innovative, and able to actively participate by providing ideas/solutions.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
