Requirements

Technical Insight: (C# Focussed)

1. Strong technical skills with C#/.Net
2. Concepts of Inversion of Control Pattern in C#
3. Solid API testing skills (REST, WebAPI)
4. Extensive experience with SpecFlow/Cucumber/Gherkin tools for Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)
5. Solid experience of implementing Automation Testing in an ASP .NET environment
6. Experience of NUnit test development
7. Understanding of Object-Oriented (OO) Design
8. Familiar with the Windows technology stack (IIS, SQL Server, AD)
9. Experience with distributed source control (Git/Stash)
10. Experience using JSON/XML objects
11. Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)

Technical Insight: (Java Focussed)

1. Strong technical skills with Java
2. Solid API and Web Services testing skills (REST, WebAPI)

4. Solid experience of implementing Automation Testing
5. Experience of JUnit test development
6. Understanding of Object-Oriented (OO) Design
7. Familiar with databases and knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)
8. Experience with distributed source control (Git/Stash)
9. Experience using JSON/XML objects

Desirable

1. MVC pattern
2. Continuous Integration (Team City or Jenkins)
3. PowerShell Scripting

Job Responsibilities

About the role:

1. Automation and setting up frameworks on multiple application types and platforms: Web, Mobile, Desktop, Service
2. Coding automated test scripts, in accordance with industry-standard best-practice
3. Contributing to the planning, design and implementation of test automation frameworks using best-practice techniques and principles
4. Business facing/working closely with the project team

About you (ideally):

1. Extensive experience of BDD and TDD Methodologies
2. Business facing/working closely with the project team
3. Strong Agile testing skills
4. Degree qualified or equivalent
5. Experience of creating test scenarios and acceptance tests
